ATTENTION PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE ISSUE THAT THE BATCH FILE OPENS THE CMD SCREEN THEN CLOSES IMMMEDIATELY. On the top left of your minecraft server folder, click on view, look to the right and click the checkmark for file name extensions. You will see that you have most likely named your server executable Go ahead and delete the first .jar and it should work. I feel stupid

when i click to execute the .bat file i get a propmt for a split second then it closes and i get no eula file

Great video, helped me a lot.
I had some issues with server visibility on my own device, because I used my own port and IP from Hamachi... But it was easily resolved in Avast (Hamachi connection wasn´t trusted)

make sure to have no spaces in your servers name or the bat file doesnt work use underscores instead

I need some help, whenever I try to open the .jar file, it asks me what I want to open it with. i've tried opening it with java.exe and javaw.exe and nothing is working. please help

If the bat file instantly closes, just remove the .jar from the java minecraft server name. then it will find it.

I'm having a problem with port forwarding, I've done this before, 3 years ago. But now nothing works, I've tried just about everything, manually added the ports inbound/outbound and every single .exe with the word "java" in it. and it doesn't work.
