For those that don't know Michael and Jermaine Jackson were uncredited vocals on this Rockwell song. Michael provides the vocals on the chorus and Jermaine provides additional backing vocals. Rockwell's father Berry Gordy was the founder of Motown records. Michael for years denied his involvement in the song and didn't want to be credited on the song, he didn't want take any of the limelight from Rockwell in hopes to boost his career. They knew each other since they were kids as the Jackson's were Motown's biggest artists. Rockwell played the song at the Jackson's home and Michael asked to sing the hook. Rockwell's sister was also married to Jermaine.
