ED Conducts Searches In Jharkhand, Bihar & Other States | Alleged Embezzlement Of MNREGA Funds

As per breaking inputs coming in on Mirror Now, the Enforcement Directorate is conducting searches in Jharkhand, Bihar and other places, pertaining to the money laundering cases revolving around the misappropriation of the MANREGA funds. The searches follow after the ED claimed investigation showed financial embezzlement of Rs 18 Crore funds of MANREGA in the states of Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh etc. Mirror Now Reporter Bhavtosh joins to share the latest updates from the ground, in Delhi. Reportedly, in 2020 a section officer and a junior engineer of Jharkhand were arrested by the ED, followed by the filing of a prosecution.
