New age tape centered around field recordings and nature inspired piano suites, Nature Sounds and various Narada and Windham Hill efforts of such categories were common in this era, but this effort easily stands out. Well-balanced, mixed with care, and subtle but diverse use of drone background sounds throughout. By the time the two title tracks arrive halfway though the tape the mood shifts from easy listening piano to more mesmerizing and mellow ambient provided by synths.
