I'm struggling to find a laptop to buy early next year. I want a light (<2kg) laptop for class with a somewhat usable battery, but I also want to play some games (which would be while plugged in). I don't need a 40xx, I'm fine with playing most games at low-medium, but I want to play games like BDO, Rocket League, Warframe etc.
Is the Intel Xe good enough for some medium gaming?

This video convinced me to buy the Omen 16 last week, especially with the 1099 price tag at Best Buy. Unbelievable price, AMD 7940 and Nvidia 4070 GPU. Easy upgrade for more RAM.

WOW! Great year in review, Andrew. IYO where do you see Mini LED screens for the near future? Their brightness, refresh rate and pixel dense resolution seems like a win-win in my book.

I tried the Dell XPS 13 Plus and it runs way too hot! Not to mention all the quality control issues that people have reported. For me the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i offers exceptional value. I was able to get it at Costco for $1, 499.

The Lenovo yoga pro 9i looks like a great laptop, but I am worried about the battery life as I have heard it’s very bad. I am looking for a content creator laptop. What was your experience with the battery life? What is your opinion about the legion slim 7i in comparison as well?

Great video! I bought the Lenovo Yoga 9i Gen 8 a couple months ago and I absolutely love it. It's turned me into a Lenovo fanboy for sure. The only thing I don't enjoy is that the fans always seem to be running. Moreso when I have it connected to power, which I often do, but I just haven't gotten used to that yet, coming from an older Macbook Pro 13 where the fans seemed a lot quieter, at least before the battery issues began. Still, probably my favorite computer I have ever owned and the protection plans Lenovo have seem to be phenomenal for the price. Thanks for the always great content!

I'm not seeing much on the 2023 refresh of the envy anywhere. I got one on the sale recently. 400 nits ips display, 13th gen i5, I'm pretty excited for it.

funny thing is, zenbook 14x has a variant that noone talks about - non pro with i9 13 gen, 3050, 32gb ram, basically same hardware as 14 pro, just no touch screen (at least not on mine), no dial pad which is a plus for because i would accidentally activate it. The best thing is - it's considerably cheaper than pro, but is very similiar, hands down the BEST bang for the buck i ever got

I am glad to see my lenovo yoga 9i gen 8. It is a great laptop. The battery lasts around 5 hours. The fan noise really doesn’t bother me, it is not often. I feel 5 hours battery is decent. At the end of the day is a laptop, not a tablet. If you travel, everywhere you go, there is a connection, even in the airplane. It is my everyday laptop. In my opinion it is a very good deal, especially if you find it on sale. I bought mine for $999.99 at BestBuy, right before Black Friday.
