Best Food For Fever In Baby & Kids | Early Foods

@earlyfoods
Fever is the time when digestion power is really low. This is the time when we need to eat or feed our kids with extremely easy to digest foods. And the best food is khichadi or pongal as it's called in the south.
Here is a traditional recipe specially made during fever. The process is important because it involves
1. Roasting and soaking of rice and moong removes most of the anti-nutrients.
2. Flavoured with salt (optional for babies less than 12 months) and dry ginger powder that increases appetite.
3. Cooked with a lot of water to have a soupy consistency. A lot of water means it can bring down the temperature too.
Take care!
Love,
Shalini.
