the Talokan scene was so serene, gave me a little bit of tallasophobia but they portrayed an underwater city very well, everyone was floating, not built on a flat surface like how it's portrayed on other movies

Hearing this song play as they showed you the "bad guys in their lair" made sure that we can sympathize with namor and talokan. They weren't evil just people who wanted to protect their home, they are a mirror image of wakanda, hidden away with a great resource at hand.

My skin prickled at the moment they swam towards the city of Tlalocan, my eyes filled with tears of emotion when I saw that scene of the inhabitants floating in the water. Thank you for showing part of our Mexican culture. We hope to see a full movie of “Namor”

Seeing Talokan and the people embrace Shuri and greet Namor with the Liik'ik Talokan hand gesture with this music playing really made this scene. In a matter of seconds, you felt their presence and understood Namor's motivations.

Being a Guatemalan Mayan, this scene evoked pure, raw emotions in me. I started to literally cry and tear up at the reveal of Talokan and all the people within it, faithfully recreating mayan culture. I have never felt such raw emotion from a movie before, and this made me truly understand how important representation is on the big screen, as I saw WF on an imax screen with friends. Finally having accurate mayan representation is so important for us bc we have very little representation in mass media and this is a huge step for us. ¡Líik'ik Talokan!

Talokan es una palabra náhuatl que significa "la esencia de la tierra" o "el origen de todas las cosas." Talokan es la semilla, "el paraíso terrenal de la coexistencia del hombre y la naturaleza". The combination of this song and the visual exploration of Talokan truly brings up the mysticism of the Mayan people, absolutely a beautiful scene! Fabulous for our indigenous roots, representing Mexico and Guatemala in particular.

As a native Hawaiian it brought me much joy to see Mayans get representation, it was beautiful. I’ve had magical experiences in the Yucatán and this movie and sound track sent me a drift on a reverie.
