This line hits hard to me, because I once had a crush on someone at my school, but I could never get the courage to ask her out. One of my friends encouraged me, and one month later I almost did it.
But the night before I was going to do it, she (the friend who encouraged me) admitted she had a crush on me. This somehow made me realize that... she was the one for me. I told her I liked her back.
One week later, we started dating.
