**The interview is in Mandarin, please remember to turn on the caption**

This coffee talk is going to be an interview. If you are following my YouTube channel, you might have seen the recent video when I interviewed several watercolor masters I admire. I mainly ask them about their views on personal style. Because of this rare opportunity, I thought to do a full interview with every master.
The first watercolor master in this interview is Chien Chong Wei. He needs no introduction. I started to follow him in 2013. I liked his work back at that time. Throughout the years, he has become an international master who won numerous awards and has given workshops all over the world. So it is a great honor to have a conversation with this master.

Thank you for this interview; most interesting. I also very much liked your English rendition in Chien Chung Wei's "Painting Nature" video. The tone and pace matched very nicely with the teaching nature of that video. It was most helpful. And I do dearly hope you and Chien Chung Wei will produce more such videos.

Many thanks again

Great interview. I am a fan of CCW and his work. This video is a true gem and packed with wealth of information. Thank you Eric, I appreciate you reaching out to these amazing artists and translate their thoughts in English for us, who do not know Mandarin. Great job ❤

As you might expect I got a lot more the second time viewing. CCW is tough. I admire that in an artist. Thank you, Eric. So much to absorb. I’ll be watching again. This video is a treasure.

Wow, definitely one of my favourite painters. Thanks for this, and especially for the CC, as it is usually absent from videos featuring him.

That's real artists stuff. Reflexions on perfection and imperfections. Search for better. For higher. Search of ourself. Thank you Eric to share your journey with us all.

Thank you! Awesome! I also think you have to have fun and like painting, but I have that when I have planned the painting really well and it came up as I wanted it. I have similar view on painting as master Chien Chong Wei I guess. So thank you very much for the interview
