fantastic, just in case if you own a f mount 70-200E; can u plz compare this Z mount with F mount version..
because i do have F mount 70-200 E on my z6 with ftz..if the image quality is not miles apart then i am happy to stick with my f mount lens..
i am disappointed with the price of this lens being almost double to that of the F mount E version... wish this z mount version would have been little cheaper..

This is on my "dream lens" list :) I'm currently using the 70-300 AF-P on my Z6 and I'm super happy with the results. But this new Z 70-200 just set the bar so much higher from everything I'm hearing / seeing. Many are regarding it as the absolute best 70-200 ever made (by any company).

Excellent review and the VR is Excellent on this camera. I mainly shoot action, sports and wildlife areas. I wont switch until Nikon produces a D6 mirrorless variant.

Enjoyed the video. The VR results are amazing. One thought and one question. Thought: I have a feeling your handholding technique is beyond reproach and a large part of the effectiveness of the VR. Question: Does the in-lens VR complement the IBIS, cancels the IBIS, or you must turn the IBIS off?

Nice review. I wish you had processed the RAWs to be a bit more appealing though. This looks like a seriously impressive lens for Z cameras.

Thanks for the video. I especially liked the examples of VR in real life. I’m on the waiting list at a local camera store for this lens. Like 40 something so it will be awhile. I do not have a similar lens instead using a 70-200 AF-P (that is nice but not F2.8 fast).

Photos look sharp but seem to lack micro contrast. They all look kind of hazy and washed out.
