Its a very strange thing about this music, you never get tired listening to it. I have listened for almost 10 years, I am now 77 and still like this music. This wonderful live performance is perhaps the best of Gus Gus performances? I think so. And as I understand it, it is one of KEXPs most successful uptakings, a little spontaeus and not so well planned, as the best uptakings always tend to be. I have enyojed if for many years now, and I thank both KEXP and Gus Gus for making my life a little more joyful, listening to this music.

Nobody expected this performance to be so epic. It's so unpretentious that it immediately pulls you in, immerse you in perfect rhythm and it just flows... It's very very hard to outperform something like this. 10/10.

I discovered Gus Gus back in 1999 in London, when a friend from Kazakhstan invited me to their gig. It was unbelievable, I felt like I had finally met someone of my kin, beings from the same universe as myself, who communicate through this music. Ever since, every time I listen to Gus Gus, the feeling returns with waves of goosebumps all over my skin.
