Heart of Russia is the next Map DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2, after Iberia Map DLC. It has been officially announced by SCS Software. This video shows an exclusive DLC video, basic information about DLC, its features and map/territory.

Now imagine you need to go Warsaw to Moscow. You need to go through Lithuania and Letonia without Belarus. It doesn't make any sense.

Greetings from Russia! I'm waiting for the Heart of Russia dlc to travel from Lisbon to Moscow, but as I understand it, this is not all, the developers will do the entire European part of Russia, but with several DLCs.

As I mentioned in a previous video, since SCS already made some assets for Russia via the Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC (such as roads and generic buildings), it could release at the end of 2021.

We'll just have to see.

It will most likely release in April or at least not far off because it would be exactly 1 year after Iberia

To be honest, I would rather SCS includes Belarus since it really provides a good connection between Poland and Russia. If we want to reach Moscow or central parts of Russia, we have to drive all the way up to the north and then southwards, which is pretty unpleasant experience😂😂.

Everything shows that Belarus won't be in this new DLC, which is odd, because I'm not a person who likes driving large distances, like Berlin-Moscow. But it doesn't make sense leaving a huge hole in Belarus and Ukraine.
Well, this leaves me disappointed, however I will definitely buy the DLC.

The longest route will be from Lisbon to the Ural river

Wait, I interpreted SCS's blog to suggest that Heart of Russia would be similar in size to Iberia. Also, giving the Oka river as a reference point might suggest that we won't go much south of Moscow. Which makes sense, as nobody wants to drive from, say, Voronezh to Krakow via Latvia.

Either way, there should be a lot to get excited for.
