I just finished watching this drama. I can't believe it took me so long to start it. And I can't believe it's gonna take me forever to get over it.

I've been watching korean dramas since I was 16 years old; now, at almost 22, this has climbed up to be my top 1 most favourite of all times in just the first 8 episodes. Please watch it if you haven't yet.
I found myself wanting to go inside the scenes, fight and cry for the flag of a country that isn't even mine. The romance was subtle, yet so pure and passionate at the same time. The acting, the setting, the costumes, the ost's, the lines, the humour (I loved it), the telling of a story that took place in the 1900s, a period I've never seen to be taken into consideration by sageuks. Everything about it was perfect.
I've yet to rewatch it, I'm still crying from the last episodes. But once I heal, I'll defintely watch it again, smile, laugh, cry, be angry, as if it was the first time witnessing such scenes.
I've learnt so much from this drama than I have in my 22 years of life. Thank you for letting us have a sight of a piece of history of this wonderful country!

Usually, I do not watch K-Dramas. In fact I'm a weeb that likes to watch anime more than anything on my spare time. I was bored so I came across this K-Drama. I went on and watched this and after finishing this, holy crap. This Blew Me away. The Cinematography, The VFX, The Sound, The Story, and The Camera Shots. Man, I could go on and explain how well made this was. Overall if you are looking for something to watch, This is honestly an amazing K-Drama. No Cap. 10/10

YES, It’s a masterpiece.

I’ve watched many dramas for 2 decades now and this one is on the list of my favorites.

The plot, the actors, the setting, and the budget are all topnotch. The pace is not slow nor too fast. It’s just too perfect. Kudos to all the people involve in the drama. It’s one those things that i wished to forget and rewatch it again because of the feelings I get from watching it!
