Seachem Flourish is one of the most well known fertilizers on the market and I wanted to see what results I could get from it. This video will show you growth that I got with a month of use and I will give my opinion on the product.

NIce review...the first supplement review I've seen that covers weeks to actually show the "before & after" effect on the plants. No one can argue with color and growth.

Flourish mainly feed plants that absorb nutrients from the water column. Your crypts, which feed from the roots, will do better with a root tab pushed deep into the substrate next to each one. (I think yours are each a few inches apart. If they're really close, one tab for several will do.)

Thanks for sharing.
My understanding is that Flourish only provides part of what plants need. In my 65 gallon, moderately stocked community tank, I supplement it with a normal dose of Easy-Green twice a week (since it doesn't list any significant micronutrients) and have seen pretty significant growth over the past two months I've been doing this. Prior to that most of my plants looked like your poor Java Fern. It was very depressing!
But I should also add that I also started CO2 injection via a CO2Art bazooka diffuser, so that complicates things. But I stand by my chemical hypothesis that Flourish and Easy-Green complement each other.

Just put the java fern on to some drift wood and stock your tank a little bit more just don't touch your java fern after you glue it to the drift wood the leafs or parts that split off will grow by themselves around the tank some with massive java ferns just have them floating in the back and makes it look like a background plant

Great info on the fertilizer. Looks like it really helped the plants. Happy your family did ok during the storm. ☺️

Nice. I'd say it's a solid product. If you already have most of the nutrients big results won't really happen but if someone has not as many nutrients and add this stuff it'd have a big impact. Nice video and tank.

Carbon is the building block for all freshwater plants. Flourish provides this. There's a reason it's so popular. Not sure why but someone is spreading lies about it online.

Java fern doesnt like to be rooted into substrate. Attach it to wood or rock.

Do not add it as soon as you do a water change, water conditioners remove most of the metals present in the nutrients so basically you are taking away the much needed iron

Good video. I am using Floutish now in my tank, too. By the way, what's the soundtrack?
