JEWAR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Design - ARCHITECTURAL THESIS 2020

Hello folks, I am Chinmay Karan, thesis student in SPA DELHI.

The main objective of this thesis is to create a bold architectural statement in the form of a passenger terminal and leave the user amazed by its experience. The design’s aim is to develop a passenger terminal that will reflect the hinterland regional identity and will be a suitable introduction of the region to the incoming domestic/international passenger. It attempts at making a traveler’s journey calm and peaceful and make him aware of the unique architectural essence of the region.

The main intent is to create a gateway into the region and an alternate for the IGI airport. Reference to the natural and cultural highlights the relevance of the region and its architecture on a national and international scale.
