The future of these buses are uncertain as the authorities are pushing for a fully wheelchair accessible fleet by 2020...

My favourite non-wheelchair bus models are Volvo B10TL, I used to ride this often on bus service 88 or bus service 161. As of December 2020, 'all' Non-wheelchair buses have been fully retired which will then be followed by the retirement of the first, second and third generation NSEWL trains in four to six years time.

A fine tribute to my favourite type of buses which in a way I'll miss more as I used to drive them all the time here in Glasgow....Volvo Olympians, Leyland Olympians, Dennis Darts, Volvo B10Ms etc and they were all beasts of the roads which I'll sadly miss. The low floor revolution may benefit those with mobility issues and what not but as drivers they have lost their charm the old workhorses once had. Sadly times and regulations change.

I used to live in Singapore in 2018 and moved to Australia on september 2018 I took the bus all the time Newton station on the down town line

It's so sad all of these old buses are going to retire, especially the O405Gs. I hope LTA purchases more bendy buses as they are better on feeders due to being faster for alighting and boarding.

Volgren O405Gs have only 2 more months left. 😭
