Call your dad now and ask him what the wifi password is so he has time to find the little paper it's written on before Thanksgiving.

Password sharing technology only already exists for Android until Apple invents it later on and blesses the world with such an amazing concept that no one else has done for a long time.

If you don't see the psswd below the QR code on Android. You can just read the QR, with a QR reader that deciphers the QR code, and you'll have it in plain text.

I just love how they hide the WiFi name and password and then show the unobscured QR-code. Scan it and laugh. :D

Yes, we all know an A9 is required to display passwords on a iPhone, without that strength it wasn't able to

3:29 Only WPS PIN can be hacked (which is rare to see today) and only if the router doesn't block attempts after a certain number of tries. WPS Push Button can only be hacked if you're very lucky or if you get physical access.

Swapping the QR code for one that links to the LTT Store was pretty slick.

iOS can easily share Wi-Fi passwords. As long as the already connected device has their Wi-Fi settings open, once the new unconnected device opens their Wi-Fi settings the connected device is prompted to share the password. I’ve used that many times so I didn’t have to type in the complicated built-in passwords to routers.

If you forgot the password you set, you can just reset the router so it has the default password again, which you can find it easily on the router itself. On another note, the sharing password capability has been in iPhones for ages, which Android lacked until recently, but they added that text password, which is nice

The easier method might be to just look on your router to find the default login for the web panel and just look there.

One tip from my side: never use default passwords. I mean never, no matter what it is. Not the generic one that is used for every device and not the one that looks specially made for you. With the generic one it's pretty easy to understand. When the login is "admin" "admin", it's not secure. This is one of the first 5 logins that will get tested and the first one, when the device is known. Safes for example have a user and master code. The master code is not always changed and its often a generic one.

With the 2nd type it might be not clear why you never should use it but it's easy to explain. You don't know how it's generated. They obviously won't tell, to avoid leaking every standard password. Some used the WiFi Mac Adress with some simple math and once it was leaked, every default password was cracked. From a production standpoint it was easy done, because they had a unique enough number (Mac addresses aren't nessesary unique, due to the limited amount. They might reuse it after a long time, when the old device is not used anymore or they use the same number in different regions) they could use to generate a password from.
They might use a randomly generated password but you never know.

Also a good password hygiene is to never use a password that is known by others, who aren't authorized to use it. This obviously includes all default passwords. Every password shown in this video, shouldn't be used as password anymore.

There is a current way on IOS that sort of works like airdrop, when someone tries to connect it will ask the currently connected IOS devices if the device trying to connect is you and if you click yes, it connects.

They missed out on the best way to figure out the password. Just connect any PC/Laptop to one of the LAN ports and access the admin panel :)

Also, if it's a home network and all else fails you can use the reset button on the router that will reset the password to the default one that comes with the device. But then you will have to do all the setup all over again.

You can also login to the router and look up the WiFi password in the WiFi Settings. This of course means you need the router's admin password. Generally you would browse to the gateway IP address in your browser.

On some Android devices, there is no "Share" button but there is a button with a QR Code on it. Then, the password will not always be visible in plain text. If it's not, you can scan the barcode with a barcode scanner app in order to see the password embedded in the QR Code.
