Sorry to hear you're stuck in Menominee. My grandson is stuck in Milwaukee. His car died and he doesn't know anyone. Needs to be home for classes on Nov. 4. Think he's gonna miss some this week. My '13 Volvo did the same thing. Bad Quality DEF error. Engine Derate in 60 mintes. I pulled the Speed Sensor off my tranny and limped home at 55mp/h. No cruise, no speedo, no Jake - but I wasn't stuck at 5mp/h. Find your Speed Sensor, Boss Lady.

if you buy the 2.5 gallon of def fluid it only has a shelf life of 2 years. since the fuel pumps sell def stores dont sell it and they sit on the shelf.

In a 4 wheeler, the best way I've found to deal with speed bumps is to slow down before the bump and then glide over it (no brake, no gas). Not sure how that translates to big rigs.

If you keep driving it will reset itself and get you a little futher down the road. They don't tell you this, I learned from experience with my KW t680 which has the same system, it takes less than 10 minutes of driving slow and out of nowhere it will take off and begin the countdown again. Of course you need to it fixed but at least you won't feel as stranded next time.

Pretty cool. Around here, when using pex tubes for heating systems, red tubes are reserved for hot water, and blue tubes for return lines. Easier to distinguish. But doesn'tt really mattter if you guys know what's what. :)

I'm going to predict that the DEF quality sensor needed to be replaced and they had to order it because it's on backorder. Plus the test drive to get it out of delate.

I wonder if that time idling trying to work with your laptop caused/contributed to the DEF issue. The laptops I have will work fine with no battery at all. You may need a better class of inverter. Not all electronics like the "modified sine". You may need to use "true sine". Or better yet, see if you can find a car adapter for your laptop.
