The last few minutes had me crying like shit, messy crying tbh...
When he looked out the window and recalled those non-existing memories of him and Maurice being together, realizing how true he could've been to himself if only he wasn't afraid, but the realization that the life he once imagined can not be accomplished anymore because now Maurice wasn't his.

I wished the movie ended in the first 60 minutes

They could have been so perfect if Clive wasn't afraid but back then they where risking so much the ending shattered my heart so much

Right from the start of the video you're hit visually by the nostalgia-tinted, idyllic english countryside and aurally by the chords that vibrate like the tremble of someone's voice when they're trying not to cry... as if the plot of the movie wasn't enough to tear our heart apart 💔 Why do beautiful things make us so sad? Or do we find sad things beautiful?

It's heart breaking and beautiful at the same time. I'm glad that Maurice got his hea but damn I wanted it to be with Clive. I really thought that they were endgame.

While i read the book, i had the feeling Clive didnt have true desire for Maurice. Like it was more like curiousity and love but not romantic one. More like soulmates. He didnt want to loose Maurice but cant give him what he truly wanted and needed.
