"Alabama Song" from Kurt Weill's 1930 opera Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny performed by soprano Nadja Mchantaf (Jenny) in a production at Teatro Reggio di Parma, Italy.

Also known as "Moon of Alabama", "Moon over Alabama", or "Whiskey Bar", by this point in the opera, news of the city have spread rapidly, and somber characters are moving in, including Jenny Smith, who sings a farewell to her home before going off in search of whiskey, dollars and men in the decadent Mahagonny.
