Maybe we are too trusting, but we had a not very pleasant reminder to stay alert at all times on our narrowboat! We are travelling to the Crick Boat Show on Narrowboat One Day More with Paul and Anthony on Narrowboat Morning Star from YouTube channel @NarrowboatLifeUnlocked. In this episode we leave Fradley and head to Alrewas on the Trent & Mersey Canal, one of our favourite villages on the network.

Hello - thank you for the lovely video. Sure liked that town you stopped at. Looked like a great place. Plus they put out doggie water and treats. Great they had vollies to help at the locks. Well mother nature dropped 8 inches of snow on us. Was only to get 1 to 4 inches but guess the storm zigged and zagged a bit and decided to dump more on us. Well it is spring in the Midwest - could be 70 one day and snowing the next. Pet the puppies for me and take care. Spin

Do we assume that Marseillan was the boat in question ? Any fellow boater would always announce themselves before stepping onto someone else’s boat.
Glad this was a close call but it’s reminder that not everyone is 100% trustworthy.
We used to watch Wind in the Willows and loved hearing the likes of Sallis, Jason and Horden with their wonderful deliveries. Fond memories.

thats terrible that someone would try to steal your drone, and worse that it was another boater. can you report them to the canal trust or anyone like that. shame one of the dogs didn't give him the teeth treatment.
