I have 121, 000 miles on my 2.0 with zero issues. Put 37’s on it about 30, 000 miles ago and I have barely any power loss and I have owned jeeps for the last 30 years. It definitely handles bigger tires way better than the 3.6. I absolutely love this 2.0 didn’t think I would but it has surprised me tongues of low into work and handles big tires way way better and has been really reliable for me

I have had jeeps for the last 30 years and I was very skeptical about the 2.0 turbo until I drove one and I literally went out and bought the 2.0 the next week and I love it better than any of the engines I had and any of my jeeps. I love this little turbo engine. Plenty of power tons of torque I have 37‘s and I have barely any power loss love it love it love it

My wife has an 18 JLUR with 77, 000 on it and we have had zero problems with it, and her mpg is around 24 city and 27 hwy. We love it

I had a JLUR rental with the 2.0L engine and I was very impressed with it! I typically strongly dislike four cylinder engines but totally agree with your analysis. It will be interesting to see how well this does long term. Still hoping Stellantis come out with the I6 turbo based off this engine design. The pentastar while a great engine is so boring to drive and they really need a replacement for it.

I do hate it when people say I have 10, 000-30, 000 miles on it and its reliable... I expect EVERY car with 30k miles to have zero problems.... I want to see some over the 100k mark and up... we know toyotas can do 200k no problem....

I've had this engine and abused it pretty good for 4 years now. 0 issues at all, with 35" muds a lift and some armor.
My friend with a tacoma laughed when I got a 2.0 jeep and then his trucks transmission melted. These are more solid than people think.

I'm 350 miles into my 2022 4cyl turbo unlimited rubicon. Loving it. So far so great. Hoping to get a ton of miles out of her.
Great review!

I think the best thing about the 2.0 is there's no plastic oil/cooler filter housing that can crack and grenade! Plus, it's easier to change the oil filter.

We have a 2021 2Dr RUBICON with the 2l Turbo without etorque. It was a tough desicion which engine to go with when we ordered it, but i know a few people with this engine and they all realy like it. The power is great and when it was stock, we aeraged 21mpg on a trip to Co. The power it has at high elevation is incredible, Mtn Passes that our JK with the 3.6 would struggle to maintain hwy speed on, the 2l went up with very little effort and i rarely shifted down any further than 7 on any hill.. I agree that how well it will hold up over the long haul is a big question mark, but hopefully it will do well.

I have a 2023 and I am so happy with this engine’s performance… and then I watch the gas gauge move rapidly downward. I’m averaging 21.4 mpg

Bought my Gladiator Mojave a year ago for my birthday. Then 6 months later got my daughter a 2019 JL Sahara with the 2.0 turbo. It legit feels SO different. Not sure if I'd like it off-road but holy hell it moves on the street. I think it's a great motor. Wish it was in the gladiator

Thank you for this video. In the hills of East Tennessee, our 2021 Wrangler JLU STOCK gets average 30+/- mpg. Only Jeep before was a 1953, so no real comparison. It is a great vehicle for us. Thanks again.

I've got 55k on my 2020 2.0 jl and love it. No issues whatsoever and plenty of power while still hitting 20- 23 mph

I have a 20 JT 3.6 and wife has a 21 JLU with the 2.0t so I get to compare the two almost daily. This little turbo motor is really sweet, feels way faster then my pentistar.

Just bought a '21 Islander with the 2.0 and I absolutely love it - I was shocked by how quick it was when I first drove it. Loving my new Jeep.

This is definitely an upgrade from the V6. Many people have already gone over 200k miles with no issues. Hopefully the next 4Runner will have a turbo engine since the V6 is anemic above 5000 feet. Keep in mind the V6 has more moving parts with more chance of something breaking. You have twice the number of camshafts, more timing chain, 50% more valves, tighter fit with the V6.

Went and test drove a turbo and a 3.6 in 2019. No way I could get the 3.6 after that. 2.0 blew the 3.6 away in performance. I’m at altitude tho.

I'll stick with the 2021 diesel. I love the 26 MPG in town and tons of torque! Very happy with the purchase. Thanks for the 2.0 review.

The 2.0T with eTorque is a great motor. We bought our '19 JLUR new and now 4 years and 22, 000 miles been flawless. Only fluids and a new battery last month

In the Alfas, this engine is awesome! The Alfas had a thing with cracking radiators for the first couple years but overall that was one of my favorite cars I've ever owned. The engine can only rev safely to about 5500 rpm but has a super wide power band with that 8 speed auto. The Stelvio is comparable weight to the Jeeps so I can imagine it does keep that same pep.
