"Whipping Post" is the closer on the Allman Brothers Band's self-titled debut album released in 1969.The studio version was just over 5 minutes in length, however in live performances, it was a powerhouse, often stretching out longer than 15 or 20 minutes.

The shows Warren is touring with symphonies includes music from various eras of his career, including his sol band, Gov't Mule, the Allman Brothers Band, Phil Lesh & Friends, etc.
This rendition of "Whippin' Post" segued out of Grateful Dead's "Shakedown Street."

I was there! Tragically under attended!! It was a great show by a fantastic band! People need to wake up to Warren Haynes. That bass player was phenomenal the whole night
