It’s the little things Kevin does that make me chuckle, how he smiles at the cashier lady before unloading his groceries, the way he nonchalantly struggles for a sec picking up the milk and detergent before he places it on the counter, the way he looks at the camera in disappointment as his bags rip, or even when he tells the cashier lady if his toothbrush is approved by the American dental association lmao

In the context of having a smart character in an unusual situation where he could have easily been busted, he played it cool and answered each question appropriately to diffuse suspicion and make it seem like he wasn't doing anything he wasn't supposed to. The "because you're a stranger" response to "where do you live" is so perfect and Macaulay Culkin delivers that level of maturity and quickness to the line perfectly.

That woman is my comrade's aunt. His family is from the Clearing, Chicago area. This was her biggest role during her acting days but the family continues to be proud of her now as a committed mother. She managed to give millions of fans of the movie an unforgettable scene to reminisce on.
