It’s not just the acting, it’s the fact that Jess Robin became a superstar in just a year!

People rag on this movie and I don't agree. They say the acting is awful. I don't agree. The cinematography and editing are superb, and I was not distracted by any deficiencies in the acting. Call me weird, I'll wear that t-shirt. I keep watching it. And I'm a cinematographer.

I am a conservative jew and I understand the orthodox, this scene was played very well, and not over acted like the critics thought.
It’s also a shame that this clip did not go all the way to the end when he told Molly that he was the one that died in the eyes of his father, that’s how deep convictions can get in Judaism.

Didn’t even try it as the original was superb

I think, notwithstanding Larry’s pedigree, if your work gets parodied by the Simpsons, you’ve had a shocker!

Definitely not one of Sir Larry’s better moments. As well-chewed as the scenery may have been, it’s still hard to digest.

It may not be that great but time has been kind to this movie.😅

i don't think the movie is that bad. neil was actually good. it was olivier that was awful. he just over-acted throughout the entire film.
