‘Talking Science: An Introduction To Science Communication’ | Course Outline

Показать описание
Hi, I’m Greg Foot, a Science Presenter on BBC TV & Radio plus various channels here on YouTube, and this is the first ever YouTube Course on Science Communication.
Over a series of 10 videos I introduce tips & techniques to help you talk with the public about anything from the world of science, technology, engineering and maths. The course has a focus on helping practising scientists communicate their work with non-experts, but I’ve written it to also be useful to anyone interested in science communication.
As this course is an Introduction to Science Communication do subscribe to my channel for future deeper dives and more scicomm content:
(and click the bell to make sure you get notified of any new videos)

// CREDITS & THANKS:
Thanks also go to Dr Paul McCrory, Dr Jon Copley & SciConnect, Maddie Moate, Jonathan Sanderson, Robin George Andrews & Andrew Steele for their helpful discussion and input to the Course; to The Wellcome Trust, The Francis Crick Institute, The Royal Institution and the YouTube Space London team for welcoming us to film with them; to Google for supporting the production of this Course; and to everyone else I have had the pleasure of working with as part of one of my science communication projects over the past 15 years.
