Insomnia isn’t choosing to stay awake, insomnia is the inability to fall asleep even when choosing to.

I hate it when people think that having depression is “aesthetic” like it’s really not, as a person that struggled through depression and hearing something like this is very offensive.

Umm... ocd doesn’t mean being a perfectionist. It’s about getting disgusting intrusive thoughts which trigger compulsions and it’s highly incapacitating.

Feels bad when there are people that watch this video and are like, “Ugh, I only have insomnia, I wish I could have bipolar because that would make me more special, needy, and rare.” Mental disorders are not a game, stop comparing yourself to other people with different or even the same mental disorder. Nobody is trying to get first place here, that’s insanity.

There should be a mental disorder for people who self-diagnose.

The description of OCD being so horribly wrong just infuriates me.

Perfectionism isn't a disorder. It isn't even close. OCD is a horrible, crippling mental disorder which causes a person to have something in their head which tells them to do a specific thing a specific amount of times, or something catastrophic will happen. This can include flipping a switch hundreds of times, taking an exact amount of steps when walking to school. One of my closest friends has OCD, and he struggles with it every day. The misconception that it's just perfectionism is so widespread and makes this disorder seem much, much tamer than it actually is.
