Oreos are as addictive as cocaine, at least for lab rats. Much like humans, rats also start with the creamy center, rather than the cookies, the study also found. The purpose of the study was to look at the potential addictiveness of high-fat and high-sugar foods.

My younger one(13yrs) is crazy about Oreo cookies. In the past few years I have brought very few times. Whenever there is a sale I get tempted to buy, I go to the cookies aisle, pick one, check the price, stand there for few mins checking the ingredients, I imagine my son gobbling them 😅, keep it back... No cookies at home, he doesn't even bother.
I make home made banana bread, cookies, healthy cake...he is happy

But then Why MS Dhoni Sir did an advertisement with his daughter he must knew about the nutritional ingredients and manufacturing process of the product first. Although I have had oreo biscuits only 5-6 times in past 4 years.

I'm not crazy about oreo's, but I brought a pack recently (the thins) and every time I grab a couple I find myself going back for more. I definitely won't buy them again now that I am realizing I have a problem with control around them. Don't even enjoy them that much, but I guess its the sugar overload thats getting me.
