This video contains part II of a lecture for Chemical Engineering 263 (Undergraduate Numerical Tools) at Brigham Young University. In the lecture, I discuss the difference between analytical approaches to solving mathematical problems and numerical approaches. I also go through some examples of classifying math problems as either (1) a single equation or a system of equations, (2) coupled or uncoupled equations, (3) linear or nonlinear equations, and (4) algebraic or differential equations.
