CNN Kicks Guest Off Air Mid-Show After Verbal Attack

CNN removes Ryan Girdusky from 'NewsNight With Abby Phillip' mid-show, followed by a permanent ban at the network. The conservative political commentator drew backlash during Monday night's broadcast, after a verbal attack against Muslim journalist Mehdi Hasan. In the aftermath, CNN says in a statement, 'There is zero room for racism or bigotry at CNN or on our air... Ryan Girdusky will not be welcomed back at our network.' Girdusky later tweeted in part on X, 'Apparently, you can't go on CNN if you make a joke.'
