I've done several of these acrylic spray videos but we'll cover everything from the beginning including the installation of the comfort grip installation. I'm going for a glossy finish with these particular scenes but I would use more of a matte workable fixative for soft media such as charcoal, pencil, chalks, and pastels --basically any matte surface media.

Can label: UV-Resistant Clear Substrate: Photography, painted surfaces, wood, metal, papier mache, glass, plaster, ceramic, dried/silk flowers, wicker, etc..

where you can find a list of great rubber stamp retail stores that carry the Stampscapes line. Ask them if they offer workshops.

Formidable video! May I know whether you have experience using this spray on 3D PLA Silk creations? These are plastic biodegradable polymers, for which I would want to extend shelf life with a UV protection and «aging treatment»? Thanks again!

FUNNY STORY. I was at a hardware store one day (not going to mention where) and I went to buy a few cans of this. At the register, the girl wanted to scan my drivers license. She said it has something to do with checking age and also logging it incase there are grafitti issues in town. I laughed and told her no. I am clearly an adult at that time by the way, not a kid. My argument was, its clear and its not even paint. She got a manager and after I discussed it with the manager, they let me buy it without ID. I returned to the same store a few months later and the ID verify did not come up in the system to ask. I asked about it and they told me management removed he requirement for paint and coating items that clearly were not paint. I guess my suggestion changed store policy.

Thanks Kevin, what a useful video. I was avoiding toxic sprays and I was wondering what I was missing. You video makes the transforming power of the uv spray really obvious and now I am heading for the hardware shop.

This is exactly what happens when clear coat is applied to wood. Makes it look "wet" makes it more beautiful and gives it greater depth.

It's like a river rock...while wet it's shiny and colorful, but when it dries it turns dull. Thanks for sharing.

Does it work on Lable paper stickers and plastic foil type stickers? 🤔

You can clearly see the difference in the halves. Do you know if you can apply this product over Varathane water based polyurethane?

Ive started a large mural on a wooden panel using Molotow Acrylic ink Pens on an acrylic white background. For the first time my inks have tiny cracks everywhere even thin layers. Im 36 hours in and hoping I can fix this without starting again, so I sprayed a light coat of UV clear, let it dry for a few hours and applied a new coat of ink on top, it seems to of worked perfectly. Do you know if i can paint on top of these clear coats and then spray again? Thank you.

I have the matte one and after I used it on my painting, it wasn’t clear as implied...It kind of clouded over my painting, taking away its original natural paint “shine”. Do you think I can kinda get it back to normal if I used the gloss one over this matte one?>< or if I layer a UV resin over this matte layer?

My girlfriend has been trying to do this on the glass for the painting and it keeps coming out foggy, if she sprayed the painting would it bleed because it is water color
