Not sure if you've seen them but appliance wheels for the air fryer are very helpful.
It has to be pulled away from anything behind it while in use. I got to a point where I ripped a foot out of ours as we use it so much 🙈.
The wheels make a big difference!
I've also had ours a year, never used liners as they can effect air flow while cooking some things.
I've always just cleaned ours, a year later and it's still pristine and we use it multiple times a day!

If you have parchment paper you can use that as a liner for the air fryer
