I thought it be fun to write a prequel to "Destroy the Simulation." So here it is! Sorry I haven't posted as much this year. I've been trying to only release the songs I'm genuinely proud of. In the past, I've definitely rushed the process more than I should have. In hindsight, there are a lot of songs I wish I would have given a bit more nurturing. Really hope you like the track! I hope you know what a miracle each and every one of you are to me. Growing up, everyone spoke of music as a hobby. I was so embarrassed to say it was the only career path I wanted to take. While I'm far from wealthy, I wake everyday to the best possible life God could have given me with the only job I ever wanted. That's thanks to each and every one of you. Love you all. I'm assuming that's the message, but regardless that's what I hear listening to it and I really really love it. I think it's a truly important message in today's society. It's one of the newest and most dangerous problems after all. An AI plague, so to speak. That's why it's death by A.I.

This song hits me right in the heart. The high notes feel so light and sweet, and the rest feels dark and vulnerable. I'm completely amazed by this song.

The way you express a somber depth to your lyrics is a rare and powerful skill that many artists lack today. This song really expressed the truthfulness of what modern technology is. Listen this got suggested to me after my heart being crushed as another idol in art, one I felt so damn inspired by, embraced using AI in art. Like, full on "generating new references!!" AS IF IT ISNT SHOOTING US IN THE FOOT. The dissonance is so damn sad. Then I see "nathan wagner - Death by AI"

It's perfect timing and the song encapsulates how I feel these artists are doing to themselves from the outside looking in. They're so fucking caught up in the haze of genAI, the high like a slot machine, that they can't even see how they're contributing to the literal destruction of everything we know and love, themselves included.
