World’s second biggest diamond ever found in Botswana

The world’s second largest diamond has been found in a mine in Botswana using X-ray technology.

The stone is approximately 2,492 carats – the largest diamond discovery in the southern African state.

The stone was found by a Canadian mining company and was uncovered using X-ray technology.
