I’ve been a Canadian citizen for awhile now. One piece of advice: do not listen to hearsays or “Sabi sabi lang”. Each IRCC case is dealt with by officers differently. Also, do not depend too much on immigration consultants. Remember, they are not the immigration officers so they don’t have the last say to any cases. Actually even before, IRCC have already emphasized that having an immigration consultant does not guarantee an application to be approved, no matter how much you have paid them. Any application in general, whether with complete documents or not, repetitive medicals, biometrics or whatever requirements that have been asked by IRCC, they can still end up with being refused. That’s just how it is. You are right. One cannot be completely certain not until you already have your PR in your hands. So just to be on the safe side “always have a valid status”. Now if ever that your work permit has already expired but your status is still valid then you have to make sure you have enough finances to support yourself while waiting for your PR results. So make sure to save a lot of money. Otherwise you might end up going home coz you won’t be able to support yourself here. Lastly, if you have any questions or concerns about your application, it is best to call IRCC yourself so you get the firsthand answers and not base it on others.

The Canadian Government have every right to Deny and refuse your PR application whenever they feel it’s necessary.. The Government does not owe you anything, they simply have the power to decide if you can stay or not. Kahit pa po kumpleto lahat ng pinasa mong requirements kung may isang loophole na makita ang immigration bureau eh takagang may kapangyarihan silang i deny ang application nyo. Wala pong kasiguraduhan ang application kaya handa nyo pong tanggapin dapat kung ano man ang mgging pinal na decision..

PR applications may take months to years. Remember, you are not the only person applying for PR in Canada especially now that there’s been a massive influx of people here. So your case might be different from others. So it’s best that you make sure your status is always valid. Hoping for the best for you kabayan. True! I was also on his shoes in 2013.. Processed our own PR got rejected and was accused of faking my experience. What we did? We fought the decision and asked a lawyer to help us.. To our surprise, there were so many precedence of cases ( same cases as ours which won vs CIC aka IRCC).

These cases were mentioned on our appeal letter and to let CIC know we are filing a case. 2 days later, we received an apology letter from another officer and everything was fast tracked from there. 15 days we got our PR already.

In 2019, we got our Canadian Citizenship.

What Im trying to say here is that NeVER give up. You might not realize it right now but everything you are going through is your Refiner’s fire.

Ung kapatid ko sir nakasama sa pr application ng mama ko noon as her dependent kaso naaksidenta kapatid ko kaya nagstop xa ng one sem lang---nakita po ng ircc na nagstop xa---dna po xa napabilang as dependent ng mama ko kahit nag appeal kami sa ircc nagsubmit pa kami ng mga medical records pero dpo nila tinanggap😢😢 kc kelangan daw po tuloy tuloy ang record nya na nakaenrol xa sa school----pero noon po yun 2005 madami na po pagbabago ngaun so just KEEP THE FAITH po---malulusutan din po nyo itong mga ito❤
