Today we're looking at 5 ways to light your YouTube studio setup. The cool thing is that you can start with only ONE LIGHT to make it look professional. So, we're starting with only one light and will end up with five. I've also set up a b camera showing everything I'm doing, so that you can see the difference between each setup and easily replicate it at home.

Dude, this is exactly the video I was after. Good on you and YouTube for having it come up first for my search query. For my purposes I really like how compact, punchy and versatile those RGB type lights are. Don't really want the bulk of the key light you have; what are your thoughts on using a RGB light for the key? Can I diffuse the RGB easily or would I just dim it down. Thanks heaps! Great content. I am just discovering this wonderful and magnificent tutorial for lighting that has been here for a year, but for some reason YouTube just never presented it to me during search or something. I have been struggling with the correct lighting for my YouTube background of years. This one video helped me more than any other video I have watched. I have spent over $1000 in lighting and never could get the setup I wanted to work. I am now using about $300 of lighting with almost this exact setup you use during this video.
