I noticed something quite interesting that I puzzled me and hope someone can explain it to me. When the military officers (towards the end of video clip) shook hands with the VP, why is it that they each needed to do it 2-3 times, and before the 2nd and 3rd time, they put their right hand into their pocket, seeming to take out something and putting it into their left hand before shaking hand with the VP again. Is this some kind of "protocol" they have to follow?
