Hi everyone!

Hope you all doing ok?

This is my review of the M&P ExtraFlex Bury Coax, really good coax and well worth the money.

You can find more information on the coax on the M&P website.

You can also check out my video on the HyperFlex 10 I did a couple of years ago here.

Thanks very much for watching.

Matt.... An excellent choice ! I have this cable in use feeding a Yeasu ATAS120., on a 30 meter long run. I learned about Messi & Paoloni cables about a year ago when I returned to Ham Radio. As I am particularly active on Whisper (WJTX) running only 200 milliwatt, the best quality and low loss cable is a must! For my VHF and UHF set-up I run Hyperflex and Ultraflex 13 but on HF... if the runs are not too long... I tend to stick with Hyperflex 10, and/or Hyperflex direct bury. For additional protection I tend to even run the Hyperflex in black agriculture conduit... that stuff is relatively cheap and by doing that you ensure you can stick it in yr will and leave it to the Kids ! Once upon a time I used to run Andrew Heliax for the 144/430 and 23co bands... but those days are gone and I only did that if the runs were long.
For my money.... Messi & Paoloni cables are the Bees Knees. Most of us throw money into our radios and often... the coax comes second place. Here I do it in reverse... best coax money can buy and then I worry about the transceiver(s). Ultraflex 7 and Hyperflex 5 are my preferred jumper lead cables.
Their connectors are state of the art... I kid you not... and I particularly like the fact that the center conductor can be soldered internally... so you have a beautifully round blemish free "nose" on yr PL259.
Oh... and before someone I pay full price... do not ask for discounts... and do believe me.... If I wasn't happy with their stuff... you'de be reading it right here in big bold letters !
Thanks for yr video Matt... as usual... well done and it is appreciated !

Hi Matt, good to see you on another video. I’m a big fan MESSI & PAOLONI, mind you the compression plugs tested me the first time I did one.🤣

Hi Matt nice to see you again. Wow that coax sounds amazing, I'm getting involved more with 23cm again and will definitely look at buying some cable from these people now I have seen your video. I hadn't really come across Messi and Paoloni prior to you posting these videos so thanks for the heads up :0}

Good Vid this! You need to put electrical tape over your amalgamated tape otherwise it will crack in the sun and let water in mate 😊

Hi matt, hope you n family are well.i personally use aircell 7 coax but I only work 80-6m hf and my coax is only 15 meters long for the cobwebb, 12 meters long for the vertical and only 3 meters long for the efhw so it works great for me :)

Really great video Matt! I just ordered 100 ft of M&P Airborne 10 from Gigaparts. They don't sell the M&P compression fittings so it looks like I'll have to order those from Italy. Do you know of any US sources for the connectors or other recommendation? Thanks for your videos.

Did Messi and Paoloni supply the cable and connectors, seeing as how this is like an ad for them, or did you buy everything?

the self amalgamating tape you have on should run the same way as the plug cover tightens up not the opposite way as it could undo the cover slightly also do not have coils in your coax as these could be inductors and sorry for this one but on the other side of that fence is it a public pavement

I will NEVER buy CCA coax again, copper coated aluminium, tried it, it turns white and disintegrates to a powder after the first year...
