Shaquille O’Neal may have been one of the most dominant players in basketball history, but he’s also surprisingly humble. Shaq shared a list on social media yesterday that listed him as the fourth best center in NBA history behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, and Bill Russell. O’Neal captioned the post simply quote: 'I agree.' Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe discuss whether they agree with Shaq and his rankings.

I would choose a prime Wilt Chamberlain. 50 points a game over an entire season. Never fouled out in his entire career. Average 24 rebounds a game. Great touch. Arnold Schwarzenegger called him the strongest man he ever met.

Russell/greatest winner
Kareem/most acomplished
Shaq, Wilt/most dominant
Hakeem/most skilled

Skip doubting Wilt's self care when the man was like late 50's playing professional volleyball and was easily the best 7' athlete of all time, hilarious

Shaq has so much respect for past big men I respect his humbleness

I think Hakeem in his prime is the “best” most well rounded center ever, although he didn’t have as great a career as the others. He could shoot and guard the perimeter in P&R situations today. Really the only one without a weakness.

Wilt Hakeem and Kareem are 3 players that should be talked about way more. They were crazy great on both ends and would be great even today.

People forget that Wilt was also a Decathlon competing athlete. Insane!

Kareem is arguably the greatest player ever. His career body of work including winning speaks for itself.

If only Shaq could have made his free throws.

Wilt was the one guy who could deal with Shaq’s strength and speed and was faster, had more endurance, and was arguably stronger and definitely more agile. Wilt over Shaq all day every day. Russell won more because he was the best leader and teammate on a much better team, and I think he was the most consistent of the whole group. Shaq would have fouled out of every game if he played in the 50s, 60s, and 70’s. Wilt never fouled out of a single game in his entire career! Kareem was unstoppable and was a great defender in his prime, but not as plainly athletic as Wilt. Hakeem was unbelievably agile and quick, best feetwork of the group 😂

Hakeem is the most complete center to ever play

There's an interview with Phil Jackson and they ask him who was better, Shaq or Wilt. He said they were both amazing but Wilt was more athletic and skilled than Shaq. He played against Wilt and coached Shaq.

Wilt actually blocked the Sky Hook twice in the same play lol, this depends a lot on what you value most, achievements is Kareem, Championships is Russell, individual stats is Wilt, unstoppable force is Shaq, most skilled is Hakeem, so it all depends on what you prefer

Wilt was in incredible shape. Wilt was super strong. Unstoppable even by Russell. Russell couldn’t stop Wilt.

Wilt been doing fadeaway jumpers before MJ and Kobe, made the most difficult layups, had almost an 8ft wingspan (which is scary for a human being), been doing skyhooks before Kareem came into the league, was super fast on the fastbreak — Wilt was way ahead of his time…. I say he’s the best center of all time.
