LEASED ASSETS POSTINGS FOR IFRS16
IFRS 16 provides guidance on accounting for leases and was issued for most companies that report under IFRS since 1 January 2019.
Basically we have new account determination for Leases Contracts management, Financial postings and Depreciation Run for Lease Assets. The SAP component to manage Leases in IFRS 16 is the Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX).
Take a look on my video and learn how to define Right-of-Use Assets Classes for IRFS 16. This is useful whatever you have RE-FX active or not in your system.
