Definitely try using your pinky finger too, it’s hard to learn but once you get it it’s awesome

My friend would do great playing Flamenco music on a guitar. Both him and I love that style of music. I already own four acoustics, but I think it's time to invest in a nice classic guitar. I was thinking of getting a Fender, but I heard from so many people, Yamaha makes a better series.

Need an upstroke, I feel like you’re limited by only doing downstrokes. As your tempo raises you’ll have to add a pause between your 3 strums if you don’t upstroke with one of your fingers (usually the thumb).

For me it's important to use your thumb to flick your fingers against for more strength otherwise it sounds messy when you play live. Also why not use 4 fingers. Reminds me of a girl I knew called kit kat.
