My kid found one of these locks which appears old and well used. Having cracked other combination locks I figured this would be just as easy. Boy was i wrong...I believe from being well used and worn it makes it more difficult to feel the differences..

Can you crack the Decathlon/BTwin combination bike lock as well? Or is it not crackable and reliable? I'm looking to buy a combination bike lock in India. Decathlon is a big brand here. Please help in concluding if the combination lock hard to crack and reliable? Thank you.

Is it possible to pick this lock, if the lock is already open and you forgot the code? Then it is not possible to pull tension

My lock like the key part that you’d put in the thing is like half way and is stuck

The arched plastic ends do make it awkward to get tension on these sometimes, but a thin flat headed screwdriver can be used between the opening end and the reset plate to give tension instead. These locks are very low security and the cable can be cut with 18" bolt croppers. Its worrying that people still buy these to secure bicycles. Its well worth spending 15% of the value of your bicycle on a better lock to secure it. £35 will get you something much better than this £10 junk.
