OP is no OG. I was playing 1999 to 2005. Now believe me when I say THAT was peak Graal Classic. HUGE community. There was many NPC's, Quests, tourneys and actual usable items and powerful weapons along with increasing health. There was also a full story line! It was way more in line with Zelda (which is what it was always supposed to be in the first place) and lots of people built their own houses. I'm not sure why this video says there was nothing to do?

When it moved to mobile and FB that's when all the items and quests were cut. I put in thousands of hours, started and joined guilds and also spent allot time in jail (lol). Good times. But it will never, ever go back to that unfortunately I checked it out recently and it's in a tragic state.

Sorry to say, but if you played it from 2009 onwards - you never played Graal classic (Zelda online)

Oh my god I am sad seeing graal now almost died and I wasn't playing since these days, I am born in 2003 and discovered graal in 2014, so sad... I love graal but I've had big problems with motivations because of real life and less players... I want it to revive with a huge community and deep fans

Gralats did exist you could dupe them by dropping them and then both running over them. they were used for purchasing bombs and arrows. if you carried your gralats you could drop them at one point I remember. Thats why people put their gralats in the bank. but they werent used for like anything.

The cocky arrogance is pretty accurate to how a large portion of players behaved pretty much from day one, but saying Graal Classic wasn't a social experience and that there was "nothing to do but playerkilling" all the way until 2009 is a gross oversimplification.

The fact you only started playing since 2005 should be mentioned in these videos so you don't spread misinformation like this. While it's true that around the years of 2005-2008 almost all of Classic's content was cut, before this point it was a constantly-growing world built by its players' submissions, with countless places to explore, several actual quests to complete, and plenty of activities to engage in with others... And where did you even get the idea that Gralats "didn't exist yet"?? Gralats have been in the game since before it got a master server!

As it is, this video just sounds like propaganda for the new Classic, trying to make it sound like the original was utter garbage by comparison.
