HBO Max has given us our first look at the much-anticipated second season of The Last of Us. In the brief footage, we see Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Catherine O'Hara's yet-unknown character, Jeffrey Wright returning as Isaac, and Isabela Merced as Dina. Additionally, there are scenes of Joel reckoning with his big decision from Season 1 and a flashback from The Last of Us Part 2 that takes place at a party in a barn in Jackson.

While there isn't an exact release date for The Last of Us Season 2, it is known to be coming in 2025.

They did a great job with the 1st season but I'm a little concerned about season 2. Without spoiling anything.... I didn't enjoy the story of Part 2 of the game as much as I did Part 1, so I'm hoping the TV show don't follow it too closely. Or have season 2 as a fill-in until they decide to tackle Part 2 of the games story.
