This is Kathy (mom). Watching this video reminds me of how much the bedroom changed. Since it was completed, when I walk into the boys room I'm amazed that it is staying clean and organized. I think something clicked with this makeover, they are taking pride in their room. I hope it keeps on going. I also am commenting on the Lume deodorant ad. Shannon, you did a great job with your little commercial! But, the best thing is that I have been using Lume for just under a year and I really love it. When I wear a sleeveless top in the hot sun, I'm usually a stinkball. Lume really stops the stink!! I just ordered from your ad, because all of that for the price is a bargain, and I have been wanting to try the other Lume products. I usually don't comment, but I had to on this video!! I would put a little heart here (but I don't know how to, ha ha).

I just saw your video and subscribed. I have a tip. My son is a huge car nut and has so many magazines. When it comes to the magazines its only maybe 2 articles he liked and was more the pics. So we decided to make scrap book ( Binder ) we went from 30+ magazines to 1 binder. He really loves the scrap booking and even journal scrap booking. Loves the creativities.
Just a thought for future magazines.

I have noticed the same thing with my kids: if we are re-doing their rooms they are so excited they don’t care about getting rid of stuff at the same time. I usually don’t even buy anything — I just do it every year when we decorate their rooms for Christmas and again when we take their Christmas decor down and rearrange the room a little to freshen it up.

Love this video and got a lot of ideas. Where did you get the white mesh bins. I love the size of those bins. Yes sometimes we as parents wonder how far or to what length we need to go to make our kids happy. I love how involved the grandma is. It’s wonderful to see!!!

What a fun room for the boys! We have a 6 year old neighbor boy that comes over to play Mario with us. You've given me ideas to make or get something for him for Christmas!!
