This latest interior design with the "ipad" is so lazy and uninspired. A VW salesman preferred my current Mk7.5 over this! I had planned to upgrade but not bothering now.

The man with the car goes around 200-250 kmph. In my region reaching 120 kmph is a major speed.

Pretty good compared to the 2024 BMW 128ti (F40) stock which puts 1560kg (without driver) on the scale and does the 100-200 in 14.0 sec dead. The only down side of the BMW is, it never gets to the 250 GPS as its limiter kicks in at 245.

I got lucky and was able to lease the new 8.5 gti for around 150€ per month. And i must say this car is so fun to drive. Its performs extremely well on the autobahn and is very good for my every day use. But i have to say woult this car cost the regular 300-400€ per month i would never think about leasing/buying one, its just to much money. And side note the fuel milage is pretty bad for a car like this. Since i got the car its about 10.7 L per 100km

Unpopular maybe, but the haptic buttons haven't bothered me. What I want is a button to change drive modes on the steering wheel. I definitely like the new head/taillights. MK8 has better side badges and that giant iPad on the dash of the 8.5 looks absolutely ridiculous.

Gearing is still IMO a bit too long for a 7 speed. For example 4th should probably top out at 180 instead of over 200kmph. It would be better with gearing more similar to an a45s especially considering its down on power compared to that. Would make it feel a bit more alive

Well, not bad. But I expected it to be quicker for 265 PS. From 230 kmph on it takes forever to reach 250 kmph GPS.

This engine is same 2024 4x4 skoda superb gasoline engine. But superb torque is 400Nm
