Stuart that was the most exciting and easy project I've ever followed, i have been quilting since the early 80s, I'm now 70 yrs but my knees can't do the floor work joining the 3 layers together, so I've not done quilting for a few years, but after finding your vlogs I'm over the moon to do all of your projects. I've just finished my rice bag and absolutely LOVE it ..thank you so much for inspiring me, onto the glass case now and what ever comes up next . Love and blessings from Australia xx....

Additional uses for rice bags - add a bag of rice or grain and use as a door stop, carry craft supplies, use when shopping for items that fall through a shopping trolley/cart, a toiletries bag forr travelling, a small bag for beach necessities, a gift bag for an odd shaped gift, a bag for the car to contain clutter, kids small toy bag, .... I'm sure we'll all find dozens more. Thanks for the clear instructions and demo.
I use "orphan" quilt blocks to make bags for my sewing room (thread and notions storage for a current project).
