My tray was jammed, does not open.ended up stuffing the remote. Getting the older one that's rechargeable, no worries about the jammed battery tray and has a headphone jack. I believe the pro still has the chargeable remote.

Hi Charlie! Which shield did you buy that have the remote with batteries? I bought the 2017 500gb Sheild Pro and it came with a usb charger remote.

I bought a new one in 2016. That died within the year and was replaced. The replacement died within a year and was replaced. That one died within the year... repeat. I've had 3 now and they have all died under the warranty and now NVidia refuse the replace the 3rd one because the ORIGINAL one was bought in 2016 and now out of warranty. Can you believe that?

That's only half the instruction. It doesn't show how to get the batteries out of the tray.

After only 2 day the batterys was critacal low on power...so now must purchse new ones..why they can't be recgagable is beyound me.

My battery tray won't even slide out after I push it with a pin

mine was stuck folded a paper and stuck it in the cracks and pulled it till it opened :/
