I wish Derrick would sound as delicious as he sounded here on the newer records. More like how Space Cowboy sounded. Warm, organic, cuddly. Not that over-compressed, in your face, toxic sound the producers think is "better". This jam really reminded me how exquisite Jamiroquai sounded before the idiotic mass-production, three-cent--piece assembly-line producers got in the mix. That minute 5 four-on-the-floor.. Why can't Jamiroquai record just like this??? Fore the love of god! We need this!!!!

omg. There is nothing like talent coming together. There was a moment there with the bassist where i was suddenly overwhelmed with emotion, which is entirely odd for me and totally unexpected, but i quickly realised it was because it's been so long since i've heard some real music and talent - i almost forgot that good music does something to you that really fills you up with good vibes, you don't have to force it, the magic is just there.
I forgot i loved music ! I forgot it's magical ! I don't know what the hell has happened but it has no meaning or feeling anymore. Flat, robotic, contrived.
