This is one of Schubert's 12 noble valses for piano. This particular little valse is marked "Maestoso" and most of the piece is forte. I enjoyed performing this piece and I enjoy Schubert's music very much in general. How he is able to modulate and create these seemingly endless, beautiful melodies certainly demonstrates his brilliance and mastery of music.
